Sometimes boys just want to have fun, but it seems like it doesn't look like fun at all to see the two boys of One Direction go into an argument on stage.
Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson allegedly exchanged heated words before Liam pushed his band mate, according to reports.
While this rumor was already denied by their representatives, it has continued to make rounds on social media, putting more fuel to the impending hiatus of the four-piece band.
"This is clearly just banter, they are obviously just messing about on stage," a rep said in a statement. "Anyone that has seen the band perform will know this."
Though the seemingly heated argument of Payne and Tomlinson could only be one of their gimmicks, which they usually do every time they perform in a show, the audience insisted that there was really tension between them at that time.
The claims added that Tomlinson reportedly walked out of the stage several times, which left Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Harry Styles to entertain the crowd.
According to a few sources, Tomlinson unintentionally stood in the wrong place on stage, which apparently irritated Payne, who couldn't easily go before him at that time.
"All the time, Louis kept disappearing offstage between songs," Maisie Adam, who took a video of the incident, said in a statement. "The other three looked a bit confused about that throughout the set. Then Louis forgot the words to one of the songs. Liam and Niall were looking at him. They were looking a bit miffed."
Maisie went on to say, "They were supposed to be in certain places at a certain time. They were all there except Louis. Liam came forward to sing something and Louis was blocking his way. I would say pretty deliberately."
Following the incident, Maisie added that Payne had reached his turning point and pushed Tomlinson "quite hard".
"You can see him saying 'stop it'. He pushed him quite aggressively." he said.
However, their representatives have continued to deny the claims and even disregarded the rumor about Tomlinson leaving the stage several times.
Amidst all the controversies, One Direction fans will always be in full support for them no matter what.
