'Bobbi Kristina Brown' News: Boyfriend ‘Nick Gordon’ May Face Murder Charges

Nick Gordon may face murder charges as the district attorney in Georgia has convened a secret grand jury with the intent of charging the late Bobbi Kristina Brown's boyfriend with murder.

Us Weekly reported that the D.A. does not know what the charges will be yet but they want to go for murder charges. An insider told the media outlet that Nick will be charged with criminal charges "very soon." The D.A. is also consulting with legal experts at the time being to see if murder charges would stick.

Bedelia Hargrove, Bobbi Kristina's conservator, filed an amended lawsuit which Nick has been accused of wrongful death and seeks at least $10 million in damages. The 25-year-old adopted son of the late Whitney Houston is accused of giving Bobbi Kristina a "toxic" cocktail the night of Jan. 31 which left her "unconscious" and ultimately led to her July 26 death at 22.

"We will leave no stone unturned in seeking justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown," Bedelia expressed Us in a statement in July.

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed to the publication that cause of Bobbi Kristina's death has been officially identified, but the judge ordered to seal the findings.

The death of Whitney Houston's only daughter has been treated as a criminal investigation since she was hospitalized and put into a medically induced coma after being found face down in a bathtub in her home at Atlanta on January 31.

Meanwhile, Nick has maintained his innocence. As a matter of fact, he revealed that he checked himself into rehab and has since been residing in Florida during a bizarre interview with Dr. Phil in April.

"The passing of Bobbi Kristina is devastating to Nick and our family," Nick's mom Michelle said in a statement to the media outlet following Bobbi Kristina's death. "Nick loved and cared for Krissi deeply, and he has suffered greatly each and every day they've been apart. Nick and our family are in mourning, and we ask that you respect our privacy. Our thoughts and prayers are with both the Houstons and the Browns during this difficult time."
