‘Back To The Future’ 2015: Michael J. Fox’s Marty McFly Reaches ‘Future’ This October 21 – And So Does Limited-Edition Pepsi Perfect In Hoverboard-Filled Ad! [PHOTO+VIDEO]

This year marks the 30th anniversary of one of the most beloved films of the past few decades, which turned the already-famous Michael J. Fox into a legend after playing Marty McFly - now, as his character's set to go back to the future in 2015, one of the biggest companies in the world is celebrating along!

Back in 1989, when the second film of the trilogy was released, the "Back to the Future" 2015 date was first introduced, as Marty got into the DeLorean once more to save his future children from a terrible fate - and right before, all he truly wanted was a Pepsi bottle.

According to Gizmodo, the soft drinks giant is honoring the big "Back to the Future" 2015 date this year, releasing a special edition featuring the soda that Marty drinks in the "future," Pepsi Perfect!

As Coming Soon reports, after weeks of rumors regarding a possible special edition of the popular soft drink based on the "Back to the Future" 2015 anniversary, Pepsi's now officially releasing the up-to-now fictional drink for fans of the film, and of course, it will be available (as a limited edition) starting on October 21, 2015, the very day Marty McFly's set to hoverboard all over Hill Valley.

According to CNET, the design of the "Back to the Future" 2015 special edition Pepsi Perfect comes straight out of the second film of the trilogy, and there will only be 6,500 bottles of collectible cases sold online, so it won't really be available at supermarkets or cafés.

Interestingly enough, there's a chance to get it weeks before October 21, if you're around New York City for the next weekend while cosplaying as the time-traveling teen who can't stand being called a chicken: the first 200 fans who come up to Pepsi's booth at the New York Comic Con this weekend dressed as Marty McFly will be given a bottle of Pepsi Perfect.

This applies to the first 200 on each days, so that's a few lucky fans getting their futuristic-looking Pepsi, even if it tastes the same as the regular one.
