LG To Release Dual-Display Smartphone, Find Out the Specs Below [WATCH]

LG has just unveiled a teaser video for its rumored new dual-display smartphone. The release is in line with the preparation of the tech company for the coming big event this October 1 in New York City.

The upcoming event which is called "The Premiere" may include the release of LG's latest smartphone called the LG V10. According to the teaser video and some speculations, the new device will have a dual-display and dual-cameras in the front.  It is also anticipated that a small and secondary "ticker" will be included right next to the phone's front-facing camera.

Engadget calls the new device as a phone with a "camera-secondary screen combo at the top part of the display." The said description was first reported last month, when China's own version of FCC, TENAA, unveiled several images of the gadget.

According to some, the "ticker" screen will be used to show app shortcuts. As some have already known, several tech companies are trying to use ticker displays in order for the users to acquire more information from the phone by simply glancing at the screen.

In the year 2010, Samsung's Continuum will have its own ticker display right at the bottom and currently, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge also has one right at the bottom side of the phone.

Engadget presented its own speculation about how to use the said ticker.

"It's not clear exactly how this would work, but you'd likely have a way to activate that ticker without turning on the main screen," Engadget stated.

Aside from the 16 MP rear camera and 5MP front, rumors say that LG V10 will have a 5.7-inch QHD display which will make it a huge "phablet". It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset, 2GB of RAM and an internal storage of 64GB. It will also contain a removable battery and microSD which will be quiet similar to their previous handsets.
