Prince Harry Talks About Marriage and Princess Diana as His Main Influence in Doing Charity Works

It may actually numb Prince Harry's ears, but everyone is dying to know: Is he ready to settle down?

In May of this year, he said in an interview with People "it will happen when it will happen," he couldn't be more clearer as he echoed that same sentiment again on Wednesday as he was on a 17-mile trek for Walking With The Wounded's Walk of Britain.

When he was asked by Britain's ITV if he were "anywhere near" settling down, the 31-year-old Prince replied, "No. There are a lot of things to get done before settling down. Another seven miles to walk now, which I'm not looking forward to...8! Everyone looks forward to settling down, but in the meantime it's work as usual so let's crack on."

Harry has been always been an avid supporter of Walking with the Wounded in the past. In 2013 he joined injured veterans on a 200-mile trek to the South Pole

"It's equally important, if not more so, to do stuff behind the scenes." He said that Princess Diana is the one who influenced him to carry out charity works "It's something that our mother did a lot of and that's the time you really get to learn, you get the experiences and you actually get the honest truth out of people."

He also expressed his appreciation for the public support he had encountered during the walk,

"The support has been amazing," Harry told People. "People come out to give money, and then when they hear what it's for they put another £20 in."

The former Army captain also told ITV his continuing commitment to veterans' issues, that's the reason he brought his Invictus Games for wounded warriors to Orlando in May.

"The main focus for the rest of my life is to make sure these guys get the best support possible," he said. "I love spending time with these guys. I like to think I know roughly what they're going through as well. It's hard to say that, because everyone is unique, but the main focus, from my point of view, for the rest of my life anyway is to make sure they get the best support possible because I know, and more people are starting to see, how valuable they are within society. Whether it's in this country, or the U.S.A., they are the best people on this planet to bring people together, to improve communities. I think it's something people need to take notice of."
