Zelda Williams, 26, was left "heartbroken" according to hier tweet when she learned Cathriona White died of suspected suicide.
"Heartbroken to continue to watch sweet, kind souls be consumed by darkness. May it never hurt less, so we never grow numb to the loss," the daughter of the late Robin Williams tweeted on Tuesday.
"In honor of @littleirishcat, please check out https://www.pieta.ie . They do great work in her wonderful home country. RIP Cat."
Williams lost her famous father when he took his own life at age 63 in August 2014.
Make-up artist Cathriona White, 28, was revealed dead on Monday - just four days after breaking up with the comedian, Jim Carrey, 53, for a second time.
Her mother Brigid, who lives in England, told a family friend of her heartbreak, saying: 'My Cathriona is dead. My Cathriona is dead. 'Can you believe it? What am I going to do? What am I going to do?'
Cathriona, originally from the little town of Cappawhite in Ireland's County Tipperary, was found at her Los Angeles home on Monday night after two friends went to check in on her at the $1.1million house. Pieta House is a suicide prevention center in Ireland, where White was born. White allegedly left behind a suicide message in which she mentioned breaking up with Carrey on September 24.
White's on-again, off-again boyfriend of three years Jim Carrey issued an emotional message saying he's "deeply saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona."
In a statement the actor added: "She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her."
Official cause of White's death cannot be determined until an autopsy is conducted.
