Paul Paul Wesley and Torrey DeVitto Divorce: 'The Vampire Diaries' and 'Pretty Little Liars' Stars Will Remain Friends

Paul Wesley and Torrey DeVitto are calling it quits after two years of marriage.

The couple "have decided to amicably split. They will continue to remain good friends," Wesley's rep told People.

"The Vampire Diaries" star and the "Pretty Little Liars" actress met in 2007 on the set of their film "Killer Movie". They married in a private ceremony in New York City in April 2011, they have no children together. There have been no reports or rumors of trouble in their marriage

DeVitto made regular appearances on the third and fourth season of "Vampire Diaries," in 2012. Although they rarely did shoot together, DeVitto told Zap2It in February that she enjoyed sharing the set with her hubby.

"I had such a great time working with [Wesley] and it was amazing," the 29-year-old actress said. "I totally take back everything I said. We just have such a mutual respect for each other, and a similar work ethic."

"Vampire Dairies," CW hit show, is the story of a fictional small town haunted by supernatural beings. DeVitto is also a series regular on Lifetime's "Army Wives", which just wrapped its seventh season.

According to People, Wesley spoke about the benefits of working on the same set.

"It's fantastic because otherwise we'd be 2,000 miles away," the 31-year-old actor said. "Los Angeles and Georgia, so it's very nice to be in the same geographical location," he said during the time."

"Vampire Diaries" return with its fifth season in October.
