Microsoft and 343 Industries Introduce New Game Modes In 'Halo 5: Guardians'

As "Halo 5: Guardians" is about to be released, Microsoft together with 343 Industries announced that the new videogame will include new modes that will make gamers be more excited.

Since the year 2001, the Halo game series had sold more than 60 million units. According to some, the best part to be played in the videogame is the story mode and the campaign.

In the new sequel of Halo, a new mode named the new Warzone will be introduced. The game mode is said to be one of the main attractions in the new videogame, which will make the players love the Halo franchise even more.

The new Warzone mode can be defined as a vast 12-on-12 multiplayer match. The new feature will allow each team to fight against different players including some computer-controlled AI. The mode also provides different variety of attack paths, weaponry, and even types of enemies, which will make the game a complex combat.

With this kind of match, various users, especially those who are considered as hardcore players who love sci-fi combat arenas, can freely show their abilities and talents.

During an interview with GamesBeat, Josh Holmes the executive director of Halo 5: Guardians from 343 Industries stated the gameplay of the Warzone mode.

"The scoring system is very different. You have all these choices as a player", Holmes explained.

The main goal of the mode is to simply gain points. The first team who can collect 1,000 points will be announced as the winner. Points can be gained in different ways such as killing enemies, capturing strategic bases and preventing the computer-controlled AI to attack.

Holmes also added that the new multiplayer mode is an achievement never done before. He said that the whole team did their best to bring all the best parts of Halo into one multiplayer mode.
