Fox Network is really doing well producing their hit music and drama series 'Empire.' It showcases a lot of talented people in Hollywood from singing, dancing, performing, acting and songwriting.
The show highlights the songwriting and production skills of their main characters and one of them is Terrence Howard's role for 'Lucious.' But the surprising part is that Howard doesn't just play his role on the show, he actually can write lyrics in real life and fans will be hearing his song on the next episode this Wednesday on Fox.
IB Times reported that 'Empire' would be featuring a song co-written by Howard entitled, "Hourglass" for the second episode of their second season.
The second episode will be called "Without A Country" and V. Bozeman will be the one singing the song Howard co-wrote.
This song hasn't come out yet, but it is already gaining a lot of popularity from fans and music critics. Billboard reported that Howard collaborated and co-produced the "Hourglass" track with another talented songwriter named Max Beasley. The song is about a sad love story that didn't end well. Howard wrote it when he was at the lowest times of his life.
Most great songs were written out of a tragic and sad story in real life. Bozeman said he immediately said he was in to interpret the song when Howard proposed to let his emotions be on the song. The song was originally written on a lower key, but then Howard wanted it to go higher. Bozeman's character on Empire is Veronica, who is recently signed as an artist to Lucios' label Empire.
A music video is also about to be released by Vevo on September 30, while the song would hit the airwaves on October 5.
Don't miss the second episode of Empire season 2 on Wednesday, 9pm via Fox.
