Gwyneth Paltrow reunited with ex-husband Chris Martin to celebrate her 43rd birthday on Sunday with kids, 9-year-old Moses and 11-year-old Apple.
The friendly exes, who announced their split in March 2014 after being married for more than a decade, were spotted hugging after having brunch at Prune restaurant in New York City. The actress was even snapped planting a kiss on the Coldplay front man's cheek.
An eyewitness told Entertainment Tonight the former couple has still remained close. "Gwyneth and Chris seemed just fine, a little flirty and stayed close to one another."
Also present at the family celebration was Gwyneth's mom, Blythe Danner, who also seemed to have stayed in good terms with her former son-in-law. "Blythe and Chris still appear close, still acting as a family together," the source added.

Paltrow had previously shared about co-parenting with Martin despite their "conscious uncoupling."
"I'm very, very lucky that I have a partner who's willing to do it with me in a really collaborative way," she said at the #BlogHer15 conference in New York. "It's been hard, and we've gone through really difficult times, but we've always said these children are our priority."
"What that really means is even though today you hate me and you never want to see me again, we're going to brunch because it's Sunday," she added. "And that's what we're going to do."
Both Paltrow and Martin have moved on from their romance to their separate dating lives.
The actress, who owns the lifestyle website Goop, started going public with producer-boyfriend Brad Falchuk in July during their romantic Italian vacation. Paltrow took their relationship on social media just last Monday at the premiere if his new Fox show, Scream Queens.
The 38-year-old rock star, on the other hand, moved on with on-again-off-again girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence in August 2014, but called it quits just after a year due to their crazy schedules.
