Michelle Obama Jokes About Life After The White House On ‘The Late Show’

Stephen Colbert, welcomed the ferociously gorgeous, First Lady Michelle Obama, to his stage during the episode which aired September 28, and the viewers couldn’t keep their eyes off of her.

Not only did FLOTUS wear a sexy top during her interview, but Michelle promoted her “Let Girls Learn” and “Reach Higher” drive, while also giving Stephen the reactions on what she can’t wait to do after leaving the White House in 2016.

As far as Michelle’s global girls’ initiatives are concerned, she explained that “Let Girls Learn” aims to champion community driven solutions and public private partnerships to help reduce the barriers that prevent adolescent girls from achieving their full potential.

“Our goal is to make sure every girl on the planet gets the opportunity that our girls get,” Mrs. Obama said, speaking about her and the President’s two teenage daughters.

And “Reach Higher” works to inspire every student in America to take charge of their future by completing their higher education, whether it be through a professional training program, a community college, or a four-year university.

In addition to spreading the word about her Let Girls Learn Campaign and urging everyone on social media to join in on the conversation with the hashtag #62 MillionGirls, which even Mr. Colbert joyfully took part in, Obama chatted about her final year as the First Lady of the United States.

After talking about her global girls’ education initiatives, Michelle said she can’t wait to just “open a window,” when Stephen asked her what she’s looking forward to when it comes to life after the White House.

The First Lady then asked Colbert and his viewers if they can imagine if young women like Malala Yousafzai, a Nobel Peace Prize winner, could not get the freedom to fulfill their promises that her campaign would set out to ensure that all the kids are getting an education after high school.
