Even though the 22 year old Zayn Malik is apparently moving on with a new girl after a split up with his engagement to singer Perrie Edwards, it appears that Perrie Edwards doesn't really seem bothered.
As the singer of the English girl group Little Mix and Harry Styles (known as a member of the boy band One Direction) are "like family," in spite of the One Direction singer's friendship with Zayn Malik.
A source close to Perrie Edwards said that the singer is doing just fine after splitting from a two-year engagement with Zayn Malik earlier this year. A new source also close to Perrie Edwards revealed that Edwards and Harry Styles are becoming close friends, even if it seems awkward as both were previously close to Zayn.
An insider close to Edwards stated, "Perrie Edwards is in a place of appreciation for all the support she continues to get," the source added, "Perrie Edwards is grateful for the boys from One Direction. The guys have all been so sweet to her individually and as a group."
The source continued by saying, "Harry Styles regularly checks in with Perrie Edwards and makes sure Perrie Edwards is smiling and moving forward," "Perrie Edwards and Harry Styles are like brothers, like family and their ongoing affection means the world to Perrie Edwards."
The Perrie Edwards and Harry Styles news surfaced just days after Edwards and fellow Little Mix bandmates made a front act for One Direction at the Apple Music Festival in London.
After the event, Perrie Edwards and bandmate Jade Thirlwall were seen "partying" with One Direction members Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan. Their bonding sparked some speculations that Little Mix and One Direction may be getting acquainted really well.
In addition, Perrie Edwards and the 22 year old Jade Thirlwall, firmly established that there may even be a One Direction and Little Mix collaboration planned in the future, despite the impending pause of One Direction in 2016.
