The first installment of the horror thriller 'Ouija' was a success when it came out last year and now the second installment is ready to make its viewers shake but this time, not until 2016.
According to Deadline, four more people whave been added to the cast list and Mike Flanagan will be takin over directing in place of Stiles White who directed the movie's first installment.
IB Times revealed the entire cast of 'Ouija 2' and they are Parker Mack, Sam Anderson, Kate Siegel, Doug Jones, Henry Thomas, Annalise Basso, Elizabeth Reaser and Lulu Wilson.
When it comes to the characters and the roles in the film, there were only few that were revealed and based on Hollywood Reporter's news, Basso is going to be one of the lead characters in the plot. Her role will be a daughter grieving over her dad's death.
The first installment's plot was about this board called the "Ouija" that a group of teenagers decide to play with after finding it in the closet of their old friend, not knowing that it will come to haunt them after. evrything starts to spin out of control that they eventually have no choice but to face whatever it is that they are afraid of. The plot of the second installmeny has not been revealed just yet, so that is something to look forward to.
According to Variety, the first installment was indeed a success with a budget totalling to only $5 million, but with a return that came back with over $100 million worldwide.
Fans of horror films can expect this to hit theaters on October 21, 2016, which is right on time for the Halloween season.
