We're all aware of how rampant violent crimes can be, but this news is just totally gruesome it can make you lose hope in humanity.
A man hailing from Florida was recently arrested and is currently in police custody after reports claim that he took out his girlfriend's bowels after the woman called out her ex's name twice during sex.
According to the Sun Sentinel, 24-year-old Fidel Lopez called 911 at 3:39AM on Sunday morning to report that his girlfriend, Maria Nemeth, was having difficulty breathing.
The arrest report states that the Sunrise police officers found Fidel Lopez crying out for help as he was next to the 31-year-old woman's body.
During questioning, Fidel Lopez first told authorities that Maria Nemeth went to the bathroom - where she vomited and collapsed - after engaging in rough sex.
Fidel Lopez eventually confessed to the story, telling the police that he became a "monster" when Maria Nemeth mentioned her ex-husband's name during sex.
Here's what happened, according to reports via Complex:
"After he returned to the closet where Nemeth was lying unconscious, he inserted a beer bottle, a flat iron for hairstyling, and both fists inside of her. He then inserted his arm up to his elbow and ripped out part of her intestine. Next, Lopez carried her into the bathroom and splashed water on her face but Nemeth never regained consciousness. He told the police he washed the blood off his hands in the bathroom sink, went to the porch to smoke a cigarette and then began to panic. After trying to clean up the apartment, he allegedly checked on Nemeth in the bathroom, saw that she wasn't breathing and dialed 911."
Meanwhile, detectives claim that they saw indications of foul play, in addition to a half empty bottle of 1800 Tequila and sliced limes in the kitchen.
Not only that, but the bathroom door was also ripped from its own hinges. Blood and tissue were also found in the bathroom, bedroom closet, and spread across the walls and doors of the apartment.
Holes in the walls and a broken sliding glass door were also seen in the home. Fidel Lopez claims that he started breaking things around the apartment after leaving Maria Nemeth in the closet, where they had intercourse.
Maria Nemeth was pronounced dead at 4:02AM on Sunday morning. On the other hand, Lopez was arrested the same day at 2PM, with charges of first-degree murder.
