Amanda Bynes Blue Wig: Actress Heads to Court With New Look (PHOTOS)

Amanda Bynes returned to a Manhattan court room on Tuesday morning for a hearing for her bong-tossing case. 

The actress arrived with her lawyers wearing bluish-green wig, black sweatpants and an Alvin Ailey black dance t-shirt and black high tops.

According to the New York Daily News, the "Easy A" star is being charged with reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and criminal possession of marijuana. 

The former child-star was arrested on May 23, after police officers responded to calls that Bynes was allegedly smoking pot in the lobby of a midtown apartment building. She allegedly threw a bong out of her 36th-floor window when police entered her apartment. The actress claims it was just a vase, the Daily News reported.  

After the incident, Bynes told her Twitter followers the police account was "all lies" and that she as "Sexually harassed by one of the cops the night before last."

According to CNN, the New York police department said internal affairs investigation found no evidence of sexual harassment claims made by Bynes

According to the People, the 27-year old actress sat quietly behind her two lawyers. They were given until Aug. 26 to file a motion and set Sept. 26, as the next court date in Bynes' case. 

In California, the actress's attorney pleaded no contest to driving with a suspended license and she was sentenced to three years' summary probation. Bynes was also arrested in April 2012 for a DUI.

Bynes rose to fame starring in Nickelodeon's "All That." But the star has made more headlines for a law breaking and bizarre public behavior.
