The much awaited sequel of the action video game Hitman will be delayed for a few months according to its developer.
The game publisher Square Enix has announced that the new installment of Hitman will be available this coming March of 2016. Originally, the company stated that the videogame will be unveiled this coming December 8.
IO Interactive, the developer of the Hitman videogame series, stated the reason why they are moving the release date of the game.
"We're striving to create a series of living, breathing worlds in those locations and we get pretty obsessed about every detail that you'll experience. We want to make absolutely sure you all get the best possible experience when you join, so we've made the difficult decision to move the initial release date to March 2016," IO Interactive said.
The game developer claimed that the new sequel is the biggest venture that they had embarked on. IO Interactive also stated that the playable area of the game including the density of the different locations have improved in a significant level compared to other videogame that are now existing.
Furthermore, the 3 additional months will allow the developer to include additional features and contents which were not originally added. This will then provide the gamer a more enhanced launching experience. The company is planning to place a "good chunk of the game" and then unveil the additional features overtime, maybe through updates.
IO Interactive admitted that moving the planned release date is not easy for them. The company explains to the gaming enthusiasts that they were also frustrated after coming up with the said decision. However, the company clarified that it will produce a better gaming experience and a faster launching capability.
The company promised that they will be sharing additional details about the game and its official release schedule next week.
