Emily Blunt who plays FBI agent Kate Macer who's enlisted by the government to aid in the war on drugs on the US/Mexico border, wows in a glamorous metallic gown as she leads the premiere of her new film 'Sicario.'
The 32-year-old actress put her fashion foot forward for the London premiere of Sicario on September 21, where she opted for a form-fitting metallic column gown.
The breath-taking dress was embellished with metallic sequins and it proved to be just as stunning when she turned around, revealing her bare back.
Emily’s dress sparkled as she made her way down the red carpet at London’s Leicester Square. The sleeveless Prada gown featured an oval-shaped cutout at the back, as bows adorned the top and the bottom of the cutout. She rocked a bright red lip and wore her hair back in an elaborate braided updo, keeping the focus on the silhouette of the dress.
Hundreds of eager fans braved the rain for a chance to get an up-close look at the British beauty as she signed some autographs on the red carpet. She even took numerous pictures with fans in spite of the bad weather. Emily has been enjoying a promotional tour for her new film and when asked about finding good roles for women in Hollywood, Blunt replied saying,
“A film, when it's being made, is usually geared towards teenage boys as they are the ones who seem to be going out and - according to the numbers - buying tickets.
“But as my mother would say: ‘Well, I'm not a teenage boy and I don't want to see a film about robots and aliens’. So I think there's a huge majority of people who are not in that age group or that gender group.
She added, “I just believe that we've got to keep writing fantastic roles for women and keep forwarding this fight because I think the tides are turning.”
