Actor Rami Malek's work in 'Mr. Robot' is one of the biggest things that have happened on TV this season. Apparently, Hollywood still has someone brilliant to be discovered and it is through the acting skills of Malek in this cyber/crime TV series that he became critically acclaimed. The good news is that the show is being renewed for a second season.
Malek's role as Elliot Anderson is quite disturbing and appealing at the same time. His facial expressions speak so much volume on the emotions and the voices in his head that he was acting out. Season 1 showed the world that his character as a computer programmer suffering from anxiety and a bit of mental depression has easily won the hearts of many.
But it wasn't just him who is working hard to make this show a hit, because veteran actor and former matinee idol Christian Slater was also part of it and he is 'Mr. Robot.'
There is no doubt that after the cliffhanger that season 1 had, fans are more curious as to what awaits this drama/thriller towards season 2. As for the things that they could look expect from the show, Malek himself actually made a bold move of revealing some of them.
Based on the remarks he has given Entertainment Weekly, people could definitely expect more scary hacking stories. In his own words he said, "I hate to think about those issues because I feel like everything that we do touch upon, ends up being something that can cause massive damage to our societies."
Another clue is when he said, if he reveals more about the second season of Mr. Robot, he's afraid fans might think of negative thing about it. That said, it is sounding like it is going to be a lot scarier this time. He even admitted that he is actually becoming more paranoid going online since he started working with the series.
