The new Heineken commercial is part of the brand's $100 million global ad campaign featuring the upcoming James Bond film, "Spectre."

Heineken has always featured a male man finding himself in an adventure with James Bond for the last almost two decades in its commercials.

Heineken director of global sponsorship Hans Erik Tuijit told the Guardian:

"There is always a lot of criticism [about James Bond]. [...] Why not a woman? We thought it was an excellent time to introduce a woman of the world. If you look at other campaigns, it is always a man of the world that save the day [alongside Bond]. We thought it was time to introduce a woman of the world [to the campaign]. It is the first time the Heineken character is a woman."

Now that Heineken is breaking old traditions, the newest beer giant's commercial, entitled "The Chase" features a female sidekick for James Bond - thereby breaking any gender biases.

The new TV commercial features the same action-packed scenes fans typically love from the James Bond franchise. Not only that, but it also features waterskis, speed boats, and even wedding crash sequence.

Of course, in true James Bond fashion - the heroine, clad in a bikini, helps save James Bond from villains that are running after him. Naturally, you'll get to see some strategically-placed Heineken bottles in it too.

The ad also features a cameo from Herve Villechaize - the man who portrayed evil henchman Nick Nack in the 1974 installment, "Man With The Golden Gun."

Catch the new James Bond film, "Spectre," when it hits theatres on November 6.
