Will 'Mad Men' Have a Spin-Off? Find Out the Show Creator's Confession Below

Fans and followers of the hit drama series 'Mad Men' may be disappointed to hear that the creator of the American show is not interested in making a sequel for the series. Matthew Weiner has revealed that he wants to leave the show the way it is despite the positive feedbacks and the special requests of the viewers for a sequel.

"I'm not judging people who do spin-offs, but despite the temptation and I love these characters and love working with these people, I'd like to leave the show the way it is," announced Weiner.

The executive producer of the series revealed that he was asked by the executives of AMC to create a spin-off since many loved the show which ended last May 17. But despite the requests, Weiner refused because he already fought to keep the length of the show featuring Jon Hamm.

'Mad Men' was one of the most-watched series during the time. The hit show lasted for almost eight years with seven seasons and a total of 92 episodes. Despite the popularity of the TV show and the remarkable acting skills of the actors, they did not win any Emmy award.

Even the performance of the main character played by Jon Hamm did not received recognition which disappointed the makers of 'Mad Men.'

Matthew Weiner admitted that he wanted for the casts and the actors to win awards and he was always hopeful.

"I have the same hopes and dreams I had every time, which is I would like for my actors to win and I would love for the show to win," revealed the series creator.

But the competition seems to be extremely tough. The 'Mad Men' casts attended the Emmys 2015 wearing their best outfits but unfortunately, none of them received an individual award which is quite disappointing for the fans.
