Online's predictions for this Sunday's awards, Jon Hamm's Emmy win is a lock at this point, after the 44 year-old actor has been nominated for his role of Don Draper a whooping 8 times without winning - in fact, nobody on the "Mad Men" cast has ever taken an acting award for the show!
Similarly, NBC New York says that the "theme" this year's award show, hosted by "Saturday Night Live" alum Andy Samberg, is being the moment of things "finally" happening, as it's been discussed plenty of times that Jon Hamm's Emmy is practically a sure thing at this point, as well as a win in the big Best Drama Series category for HBO favorite "Game of Thrones," the most nominated show in this year's line-up.
In the meantime, according to The New York Daily News, Jon Hamm's Emmy possibilities make him the "sentimental favorite" after seven missed chances in a row, with no other contenders as strong as him at this point, even if "Mad Men" stopped getting a major shot at the Emmys three years ago.
