The Voice mentors, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine may be on the same row when it comes to the success of their respective careers, but Shelton seems to have gone down a little deeper after he admitted that he would be very happy to be in Levine's shoes knowing that the Maroon 5 front man is luckily 'married to a super model', People reported.
"There's a lot of good options" Shelton said when being asked as to who would he choose to swap his life with for a day. "But I'm gonna say I would pick Adam because he's married to a super model. Need I say more?"
Adam Levine, 36, married Victoria Secret super model Behati Prinsloo last year while Blake Shelton, 39, on the other hand, has just recently filed for divorce from Miranda Lambert, after being together for more than 8 years.
When asked about Levine's reaction about why Shelton chose him to swap his life with, the county singer jokingly replied "I don't give a f-k. That's who I'm picking, and it's because of his wife. Period."
While saying that he doesn't mind at all if Levine would be surprised about his pick, Shelton has also openly talked about the kind of friendship he has with the singer.
"Adam and I, believe it or not, spent time together a lot, mostly just talking," Shelton said. "As much as we work two seasons on this show, he's right in there working. As soon as there's a break, he's got a whole band waiting for him to get back on the road. The guy really doesn't get much of a break."
Adding to his statement, Shelton said that the best thing about being part of The Voice show is the friendships he has made.
Levine and Shelton are the only mentors to appear in every season. As 'The Voice' returns for its 9th season on September 21, Monday, Pharrell Williams and the now-single Gwen Stefani are added to the row of this season's coaches.
