Mark Zuckerberg Invites Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for a Q&A at FB HQ

Facebook's Mark Zucherberg reportedly invited the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of India for a question and answer portion at the Facebook Headquarters in California on September 27, 9:30 am PST. Venture Capital Post  then confirmed this meeting between the social media giant and the Prime Minister.

Indian Express reported specifically that the event would take place at Meno, Park California. Zucherberg posted on his Facebook account saying, "I'm excited to announce that Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India will be visiting Facebook HQ later this month for a Townhall Q&A. Prime Minister Modi and I will discuss how communities can work together to address social and economic challenges."

Zucherberg encouraged people to place in some questions they want to be addressed on the comment section of his post. A live webcast would be seen on both Zucherberg's and the Prime Minister's Facebook page.

The Prime Minister responded to Zucherberg's invitation and said, "I look forward to the Townhall Q&A on Sunday 27th September at 10 PM IST (9:30 am Pacific time)."

The two parties encourage a global discussion that will tackle issues on social communications and the economy. Modi will also open up topics about what India is facing as the third biggest purchaser of power parity. He would like to make a statement on how other countries could help them solve this issue.

Zucherberg, as reported by India Today, visited their country back in 2014, where he met with Modi to negotiate the expansion of the digital world in India. The publication said he was willing to improve the healthcare and education system of the country and that he also proposed the app called, "Clean India."

This meeting and Q&A portion would bring forth change to both India and people's approach to technology, since this would involve the opinion and thoughts of the world.
