Microsoft Releases Office 2016, Find Out The New Features Below!

Microsoft has revealed their new Office 2016, and confirmed that they will be releasing it this September 29 together with some updates for their Office 365.

The release date is no longer a surprise to many as earlier reports have already spread even before the official announcement. The multinational company unveiled the new software three years after Office 2013 was released.

The new Office 2016 will not be totally different compared to its predecessors. However, some changes were incorporated for ease and greater productivity.

One of the huge feature included in the new software is the improved real-time collaboration. This is the development made for cloud computing in which working together on the same documents can be a lot easier. Office 2016 will also have an array of new colorful themes incorporated with a more user-friendly interface.

The new software was also revised in terms of syncing of documents from PC to the cloud making the edition of the document much easier and faster. Satya Nadella, the chief executive of Microsoft had stated back in June that one of the company's key investment is creating an "intelligent cloud platform".

Furthermore, Outlook is coming with some enhancements too. The revised Outlook will categorize the person's email automatically from low to high priority. The search bar was also improved to allow the users to attach any recently used file in a snap.

Although some apps in in the Office were improved, much of the other applications remain unchanged.

In a blog post, Julia White of Microsoft stated that launching of the Office 2016 is considered as a "seminal release".

"You won't want to wait to deploy to your users, and thanks to the many new IT management enhancements, you don't need to wait", White wrote.

Microsoft also stated that there will also be an Office 2016 for Mac users. It is notable that the company hasn't upgraded its software for Mac since 2010.

Since the month of May, Microsoft has already announced the coming of Office 2016 in a form of preview.
