Celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Historic Reign With An Adorable Corgi Tea Party [VIDEO]

Queen Elizabeth has broken Queen Victoria's record for the longest reign of a UK monarch in history, and what better way to celebrate than with a fancy tea party with a bunch of corgis?

According to BBC News, the 89-year-old monarch celebrated 63 years and seven months on the throne on Wednesday, beating out her great-great-great-grandmother's historic record.

In celebration of the Queen's new record, Mashable decided to have a fancy tea party featuring the monarch's favorite breed of dogs. Four celebrity Pembroke Welsh Corgis were invited to the party, which had tea and a lot of doggie biscuits that they happily gobbled up.

The Watercooler offers the following description for 'A Regal Tea Party':

"On Wednesday, Queen Elizabeth II became Britain's longest reigning monarch. In honor of Her Majesty and the four-legged cuties often trotting along beside her, we invited four corgis to join us for a fancy little tea party."

The partying corgis were Missy, Newton and Wally, who are all popular Instagram cuties. Newton's mom Hazel Bear, who has her own Facebook page, also joined the tea party.

In addition to being the longest-reigning UK monarch, Queen Elizabeth is also the proud owner of several Pembroke Welsh Corgis. She currently owns two corgis named Willow and Holly, as well as two dachshund-corgi crossbreeds Candy and Vulcan. The Queen's favorite corgi, Monty, was originally owned by the Queen Mother and had passed away in 2012.

On Wednesday, Queen Elizabeth celebrated her reign by speaking to the Scottish Borders. The monarch thanked her well-wishers for their kind messages.

"Inevitably a long life can pass by many milestones - my own is no exception - but I thank you all and the many others at home and overseas for your touching messages of great kindness," Queen Elizabeth said.
