Six months away for the most sought after halftime show on Super Bowl's Golden Anniversary and the list of the performers are slowly showing up little by little - from Bruno Mars and this time Britney Spears and Taylor Swift.
Just as the multi-platinum singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding and the Grammy Award winning band TRAIN performs today in San Francisco for NFL Kickoff, the news of the most epic halftime performance (yet) broke the internet as Hollywood Life reported that Britney Spears and Taylor Swift will be performing in the 50th Anniversary of Super Bowl on February 7, 2016, and might even perform with Bruno Mars!
To make things more exciting, an insider from NFL spilled the beans to Hollywood Life saying that the NFL prefers to a variety of performers for the halftime show, "They know they are running out of people to do it so they want to make this year a bigger deal with a host of different acts instead of one, especially since it's the 50th Super Bowl," and even continues to say, "That is why they have asked Britney, Taylor, Bruno and others to make it a once in a lifetime performance, they want to give their fans as much entertainment as possible."
According to Mashable, The NFL, Pepsi and Taylor Swift's team are in the works of the details with regards to Swifts current endorsement contract with Diet Coke.
That also explains Britney Spears' mysterious commercial that aired during this year's Super Bowl. She was seen sporting a football attire in the said ad. Seems like history will repeat itself as Britney Spears will be the most apt artist to grace the stage, not only her headlining set for Aerosmith in 2001, but also her brand loyalty to Pepsi.
The powerhouse line-up of Bruno Mars, Britney Spears and Taylor Swift will surely set new heights as it will attract followers that are ideal for the stadium crowd. The challenge for the Golden Anniversary of Super Bowl is to break Katy Perry's 121 million viewers - which is quite attainable, looking at the current batting average of Britney and Bruno, let alone Taylor Swift's following.
