Barely a year after their wedding, Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden cannot seem to fend off pregnancy rumors. A few months after their January 2015 wedding, the rumor mill was already abuzz with rumors that Diaz was reportedly having twins.
Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden became husband and wife after just seven months of dating. Now, after nine months of marriage, they’re reportedly going to be parents.
According to reports, Diaz is rumored to be pregnant with the couple's first baby after she was seen wearing baggy clothes and a bag to hide any bump.
The report cited that a source said that the rumors started once again when Diaz was reportedly observed drinking only water and trying to hide her belly while she was on a recent trip out of the country with her husband. She joined husband Benjie Madden at The Voice finale shoot in Australia recently.
The rumors have been swirling for months that the recently married couple are pregnant. Now, a new report is claiming that Cameron underwent in vitro fertilization and is expecting not one, but two babies.
“When they found out they were expecting twins, Benji and Cam were in shock, but completely overjoyed,” an insider told Life & Style magazine. Considering Benji is a twin himself, the prospect of these two having twins isn’t far off.
“Although she’s just a few weeks in, Cameron is hoping her babies turn out to be a boy and a girl. She’s excited to start shopping for the nursery.” There is a bit of a worry surrounding this pregnancy, Cameron is at a greater risk for complications, due to her age.
“They’re being very cautious,” the insider stated. “She’s very healthy and everything looks great so far. They’re hoping for the best.”
Their source added that Benjie is “so protective of her and the babies that it’s hard for him to focus on anything else. He just can’t wait to be a dad.”
The couple, despite tries from the media to get them to comment about the rumored pregnancy, kept mum and only smiled at the photographers who hound them with questions.
If the good news is true, it is unlikely that this very private couple will announce the pregnancy any time soon.
Both of the stars' representatives have not given any comment on the news.
