One of the most awaited TV series this fall on TV is Fox's 'Empire' and the good news is that it is going to return on September 23. The Hollywood Reporter has some scoop to spill from the show's season premiere since it also has released a trailer video for season 2.
It was a 55-second teaser video that the network released for those who would want to know what is in story for Empire's characters namely Lucious (played by Terrence Howard) and Cookie (played by Taraji P. Henson). The trailer was called; "Fall From Grace" and fans would see the two characters back on the show playing their respective roles.
Also on the teaser video, Lucious' character was imprisoned and it's looking like he's been living in there for a long time and it is all because of the possible reason that his family turned him in. All of this drama was done just so he won't be taking over Empire Records. The exchange of words between the two used-to-be couple were pretty mean and intense especially when Lucious told Cookie, "It's crazy how I can love you and hate you at the same moment," and Cookie replied with, "I call it torture."
Another publication has a scoop about the premiere episode of Empire season 2 and according to IB Times, the first episode's title would be "The Devils Are Here." They said that the network has released a synopsis where it reveals saying season 2 would pick up three months after the arrest and imprisonment of Lucious. Cookie on the other hand will hold a staged concert with different celebrities to rally people and get their support for the freedom of Lucious.
Essence.com said that this has definitely created a huge impact and success on Fox. Catch the return of Empire on September 23 at 9 pm.
