Google To Release Two Nexus Phones Powered By Android Marshmallow

Google has released its new flagship smartphone and phablet, the LG-built Nexus 5 and Huawei phablet. The new devices which will be launched this coming September 29 are expected to compete with other high-end smartphones in the market like the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus of Apple.

The Nexus 5 smartphone is built and manufactured by LG Electronics, which is considered the third Nexus smartphone made by the company to Google. The Huawei phablet on the other hand, is made by Huawei and is the first time that the Chinese company fabricated a smartphone for Google.

The new phablet is said to be equipped with a 5.7-inch QHD screen equivalent to a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset with a 4GB of RAM. It will include a USB C-port and will have a maximum internal storage of 64GB. The larger Nexus smartphone is also rumored to have a fingerprint reader with a metal body finished.

The smaller LG Nexus 5 is expected to have a screen display of 5.2 inch with a full HD display of 1080x 1920 pixel resolution. The new smartphone will have the dimensions of 146.9 mm high, 72.9 mm wide and 8mm thick. It will be powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset and a 3GB of RAM.

The South Korean multinational company LG is also expected to include a 3D camera together with a rear fingerprint scanner, metal frame and a plastic rear. The battery capacity is also expected to increase to 2700 mAh which will be non-removable.

According to other reports, both of the devices will have the latest Android mobile operating system called Android 6.0, which is also known as Android Marshmallow. The new Android OS will contain some new features like Chrome custom tabs, App links, mobile payments, fingerprint support, power management and others.

The new devices will be launched before the month of September ends and as for now, the prices of each phone is not yet revealed.
