Actress, Eva Longoria is going to be working on a couple of new projects. She is the Executive Producer for Devious Maids, a new Lifetime series; she is collaborating on the show with Desperate Housewives creator, Mark Cherry. According to the television show's IMDB page, the plot revolves around 4 Latina women that work as maids in Beverly Hills.
Eva Longoria is also the Executive Producer of Ready For Love, a new dating series that is debuting in April. Longoria found three gentlemen she felt were "ready for love". The men chosen were Tim Lopez, a member of the band Plane White T's, Ben Patton, a financer from Dallas and Ernesto Arguello, a philanthropist. Longoria also found three of the "best" matchmakers in the world to choose contestants; they felt would be compatible with the bachelors. The show will be hosted by E! personality, Giuliana Rancic and her husband, Bill Rancic.
The actress enjoys staying active. "There are days when I relax but it won't be a full day. It usually means I'm gonna clean out my closet. That's relaxing for me. Or I'm gonna cook a full meal for my family and friends," Said Longoria
Eva Longoria often uses her success to help others. In 2010, she created the Eva Longoria Fund. Its primary purpose is children and the Latino community.
According to California Org, "First, ELF strives to support and foster awareness for children of all ethnic and racial backgrounds suffering from health-related problems. Eva Longoria has been a spokesperson for Padres Contra El Cancer for the past nine years trying to improve the quality of life for children with cancer and their families."
The actress also founded Eva's Heroes in San Antonio, Texas. The foundations purpose is to enrich the lives of teens and adults that are developmentally challenged. In the past, Eva Longoria has chaired "The Rally for Kids with Cancer" to raise money for local hospitals and cancer. She also collaborated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to raise funds for the charity.
The actress is keeping herself busy with new projects; hopefully she will have time to relax and enjoy her birthday today.
