"The Voice" Australia 2015 winner Ellie Drennan was bursting in tears after she won the final showdown.
The 16 year old singer is from NSW Central Coast, and was mentored by the 'Flashlight' singer, Jessie J.
"This has been the most amazing experience ever," Drennan said during the momentous event, according to 9news.
"Thank you to all my friends and family and of course Jessie J for supporting me through this and always seeing the best in me."
Aside from taking home the crown, Drennan has a lot of reason to celebrate. Here are the things she should be celebrating, as listed by Australia Network:
1. As for the entire season of the show, she is actually the youngest contestant who won the title.
2. She will be driving her own brand-new Ford Kuga.
3. After winning the show, she took home a whooping $100,000 and she has a contract with Universal Music.
4. She is also expected to launch her 10 track album on September.
5. Her fans can now enjoy her new single 'Ghost' because it is now downloadable to iTunes.
Second place was won by Team Madden's contestant Joe Moore, third went to and Nathan Hawes, while Liam Maihi from Team Ricky was in fourth place.
As for the proud coach, Jessie J, she has nothing for Drennan but only nice things to say, "I'm just so in awe of everything Ellie has already established for herself as a human being before even coming on this show, she's so emotionally intact, her head is screwed on, very wise, very professional, very prepared. And you don't come across 17-year-olds like that all the time, so it's a very deserved win."
Although the first season of the show was a huge success in Australia, Jessie J admitted that she is reluctant to appear as a mentor next year, according to Australia Network. She said, "I don't know yet. Undecided, who knows."
