This Brooklyn Starbucks Serves Wine and Craft Beer [PHOTOS]

Cheese plates, gourmet tapas, craft beer and wine - these are things you normally won't see in a Starbucks store, but that's all about to change.

Starting today, August 19, the Williamsburg, Brooklyn Starbucks store will start serving an "evening menu," which offers wine, beer and some "dinner treats," as per Huffington Post.

Starbucks has long been trying to add some alcoholic beverages in its stores for almost five years now. As of writing, there are about 75 Starbucks locations around the U.S. that serve booze, including Seattle, Portland, California, Chicago, and Atlanta.

This Starbucks in Williamsburg, Brooklyn will be the first Starbucks to serve alcoholic drinks in New York City that is under the brand's name.

Not to fret if you don't like in New York though, Starbucks will be opening more stores like this next year. Starbucks has a gourmet (and not so fast food- or coffee shop-like) vibe going on for its evening menu as well.

It won't be much of a surprise when this Starbucks location easily fills up their tables with a spinach artichoke dip, meatballs, chicken skewers, bacon-wrapped dates, and some cheese plates.

They've also got truffle popcorn, truffle mac and cheese, a salami plate, and two kinds of flatbreads: a chicken sausage & mushroom flatbread, and an artichoke & goat cheese flatbread.

Not only that, but you can also grab your favorite wine, -- whether it's red (Red Blend, Pinot Noir, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon), white (Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Moscato), or sparkling (Prosecco).

Of course, they've got some local craft beer from Brooklyn too. But you'll have to ask the servers what their current selection is at the time (but for sure it'll be good, nonetheless). Alcoholic beverages will cost you somewhere between $6 to $15.

The best part - you won't have to wait until the evening to begin ordering from its evening menu. This Starbucks location starts service at around 4PM!
