iPhone 5S Release Date, Price, Features: Better Display and LTE, Cheaper iPhone 5 Coming to T-Mobile in 2013

Apple recently released the iPhone 5 to die-hard fans everywhere, but rumors of an iPhone 5S are spreading like wildfire.

KnowYourMobile.com reported that the iPhone 5S would hit volume production in Q1 2013. The core design will be exactly like the iPhone 5. Specs are not clear but it is expected to have better LTE and a new CPU and could be the first Apple device to run on ARM Cortex-A15 architecture and perhaps even in a quad-core setup. It is expected to have a 1080p display and a 4-inch IPS variant with a resolution of 1917 xx 1080 pixels with a 12 or 13 megapixel Sony Exmor RS. The release of the iPhone 5S might also start the launch of iOS 7.

EETimes.com released photos of the rumored iPhone 5S. The pictures show the exterior casing of the smartphone that looks almost identical to the iPhone 5. They show the back cover of an iPhone with a prototype serial number and different screw placement of the iPhone 5. [SEE PHOTOS HERE]

Good news for those who want the latest iPhone as soon as possible: the Apple iPhone 5 is finally coming to T-Mobile in 2013.

According to ABC News, a T-Mobile spokesperson said, "T-Mobile has entered into an agreement with Apple to bring products to market together next year. Additional details will be made available at a later date."

T-Mobile USA CEO John Legare said that the popular company will carry the iPhone and will offer it in a different way.

"What was missing? A certain number of customers wouldn't come to the store if we didn't have the iPhone," Legere said at the Deutsche Telekon conference Thursday. "We worked very, very hard for a deal that made sense for us."

"When this device rolls out I can only tell you, it will be a dramatically different experience, and I can only tell you that of all the reports that have been written about what's going to happen when it comes out, they're all wrong," Legere said. But, customers would have to wait "months" until the company says more.

The ABC News report said that T-Mobile will offer cheaper data plans or value plans and monthly plans for paying off the cost of the phone. Customers can also upgrade phones when they want. The iPhone will cost $99 and customers will pay off the rest in monthly increments.
