Caitlyn Jenner and Chaz Bono Bonds at an LGBT Center in New 'I Am Cait' Clip [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Caitlyn Jenner may have only recently come out publicly as a woman, but she already has at least one celebrity role model to help her along the way.

In the Aug. 16 episode of 'I Am Cait,' Caitlyn visits an LGBT center in Los Angeles to meet with children wrestling with their gender identity along with Chaz Bono who also went through his gender transition publicly.

The 65-year-old gets the opportunity to sit down with Chaz and talk about being transgender, something Caitlyn has been looking forward to for quite some time.

Chaz underwent his transition beginning in 2008, and Caitlyn has been waiting for several years to openly talk with him about his experience and life now.

“For the longest time I’ve wanted to talk to Chaz,” Caitlyn says. “Finally having the opportunity to spend some time with him, I think it’s going to be great. I can learn a lot from him.”

In the episode preview, Caitlyn mentions that the two briefly met on the set of 'Dancing With The Stars' before Caitlyn had publicly announced her transition, which meant she didn’t get to have a meaningful conversation with him.

"I met him at Dancing With the Stars briefly, and obviously I couldn't tell him my story," she said.

Once they finally got the chance to talk, Caitlyn seems happier than ever about finally being able to chat with Chaz. She compliments Chaz on his transition, telling him, “I know it’s been a lot of hard work, but you’ve done a very good job and I was really glad to see that.”

What makes their time together even more special is that Caitlyn and Chaz were visiting families with children who are struggling with gender identity like they both once did.

Chaz is the only child of singers Cher and Sonny Bono. The 46-year-old made history on 'DWTS' in 2011's season 13, when he was the first transgender person to appear on an American network TV show for a reason other than sexuality.
