Former couple Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards, who have called it quits after their 4-year relationship three weeks ago, are reportedly selling their house in North London for $7 million, according to reports.
The ex-lovers have already put their London home on the market, of which they had only stayed and used the property for only two months.
The two bought the five-bedroom mansion situated in a 25-acre plot earlier this year, after Malik and Edwards's house-hunting that lasted for a couple of weeks or so.
While both parties have not spoken up regarding the exact reason why they decided to end things, many could not believe the break-up since the 22-year old heartthrob and his girlfriend were previously reported to be tying the knot.
Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards bought the mansion not too long after he left One Direction, which also made everyone believe that she was maybe one of the reasons.
Just this week, reports sparked that Malik told his ex-fiance to take all her belongings with her out of their home, and not minding the fact that Edwards was currently busy with the US launch of Little Mix's new track 'Black Magic' at that time.
After their breakup, Perrie is said to be 'confused' as she has taken the buying of the property together as a sign of commitment to each other. One insider said, "This was the house where Perrie expected to marry Zayn and act as his wife for the rest of their lives. It was their dream home."
Other speculations have also rolled out on social media following the separation, which included the claims that Malik apparently became uncertain about the relationship.
A source said, "It's understandable that Perrie feels confused and led on. He must have already been having doubts about the relationship."
For now, everyone believes it would be impossible for the two to get back together since they seemingly didn't end things too well and that they are currently not in 'good terms'.
"This was a very serious, major financial purchase. She thought Zayn was committing to their long-term future."
