Donald Trump Sells New York Penthouse for $21 million

One of the world's largest real estate magnates, known for being the chairman and president of The Trump Organization and the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts, Donald Trump, is now selling his Manhattan, New York Penthouse in the amount of $21 million as reported by CNN Money.

As per The Wall Street the penthouse unit has 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms with a floor area of 6,200 square feet;  it's is said that the apartment has been in the market for almost half a year, in which he never even lived in; it was priced for as high as $35 million in 2013 but was then lowered down to $24,995.

A listing agent at Trump Realty, Michelle Griffith, then stated that it had been listed at nearly $25 million and all-cash deal was closed last Friday, the buyer's identity was kept anonymous. Griffith then stated:

"It's one of the highest prices per square foot in the building, so Mr. Trump was very excited." She then added "[Trump] was really looking for someone who was going to love the property and move into the property."

Griffith also stated that someone offered to rent out the penthouse in the amount of $80,000 a month with September 1 as the start date but then the purchase deal came in. Griffith then stated:

"In his mind, it was a strong market and it was a good time to get a deal done,"

The sale was later confirmed by his daughter Ivanka Trump, who is the vice president of development and acquisitions of the Trump Organization.

It was only earlier this year when Donald Trump stirred the internet when he was fired at NBC after his controversial comments regarding immigrants. He was then fired from his hosting job at "The Celebrity Apprentice" and his beauty pageants would no longer be aired in NBC as of USA Today
