There are more choices in losing weight, which are far more effective and less expensive. In a recent study, it points out that if a person wants to lose weight, more of the protein intake should come not from meat and dairy, but from vegetables.

In a study in the Journal of Diabetes Investigation earlier this year, researchers found out that persons who consumed higher amounts of vegetable protein were far less susceptible to obesity, diabetes and heart disease, rather than to people who consume their protein from meat. And in  Nutrition Journal's second research , it was found that "plant protein intakes may play a role in preventing obesity."

The Pennsylvania State University study stated that, one of the best sources of proteins in weight loss is Chia Seeds, even though chia seeds contains less protein but, the seeds do contain all nine essential amino acids which can easily convert by the human body into muscle. Also the chia seeds has blood-sugar stabilizing ratio of satiating protein, fats and fiber can help a person lose weight.

Jay Cardiello, a nutritionist and a trainer said, "steamed soybeans are rich in essential amino acids and fiber," as soybeans also provide a solid hit of complete proteins and magnesium - it is a mineral that can help with muscle development. Also, it can produce energy to a person and carb metabolism.
