Ever since last year's announcement that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin were getting a divorce after over a decade together and two children, the former power couple has been making news over their odd relationship, as they try to remain friends for the sake of their children after both of them have moved on to new relationships.
In a recent interview, the Oscar-winning actress and lifestyle guru spoke about how things were like between Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin now that they've split up and moved on romantically - and it seems like, despite her previous claims that it was a "conscious uncoupling," things have been hard for the two.
According to Entertainment Tonight, the "Iron Man" actress spoke about Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's relationship last Friday at the #BlogHer15 conference, as she shared it had been a struggle for the two stars to come to terms with divorce, as it's not always so easy to get along now that they've split up.
The Independent reports that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin will still hang out with their children no matter how things are between them at that point, giving 11 year-old Apple and 9 year-old Moses a chance at normalcy even if their parents split up.
"It's definitely imperfect, but it gets easier with time and you know, we're really good friends," said the actress about Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin's co-parenting, Today.com reports. "What that really means is, 'Even though today you hate me and you never want to see me again, like, we're going to brunch, because it's Sunday and that's what we'll do. The children are our commitment."
Since Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin broke up, they have both reportedly gone forward in their romantic lives, with Martin reportedly dating Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence and Paltrow having television producer Brad Falchuk as a new beau.
