Former couple Chris Brown and Rihanna are being plagued not only by consistent romance rumors, but also with speculations that they are reuniting for a new album, according to reports.
Brown, who recently invited Riri to his new home, had revealed earlier that he's working on his new album which is due to be released this fall. However, the 'Loyal' singer has not yet personally confirmed his album's release date, the project title and as to the artists who he has collaborated with for the new record.
Some sources have revealed that the R&B star has reached out to his ex-girlfriend Rihanna in the hopes of having her as a guest artist on his new album.
"I think there might be a dope Rihanna and Chris Brown song coming this year. These two have collaborated before and make dope hit music so when they come together you can expect something crazy."
Assuming that the collaboration of Chris Brown and Rihanna would be for real, it will not be the first time that the ex-couple would be doing an album together as they had previously partnered on Rihanna's 2011 hit track "Birthday Cake".
Earlier this year, Brown and Rihanna also hit the headlines after one unreleased collaborative track from Brown's 2014 album 'X' sparked online, which everyone believed to be one of the albums that the two were supposed to do.
An insider close to Chris Brown and Rihanna said that the two have been talking about the rumored collaboration, saying that Riri has already nodded to Brown's request of having her vocals on the upcoming album.
"This is something that they have been talking about for a while now but it was his idea to get her on his upcoming album. She agreed that they should do another song so it's almost a done deal."
Though specific details of the said album are not yet revealed, the singer's latest single "Liquor" will be featured on the record.
Rihanna on the other hand, is also working on her own upcoming album titled 'R8'. The 'B*tch Better Have My Money' singer has been recently spotted hitting her recording studio in New York, however, she has not yet given any specific details about her 8th studio album.
