Though it has been two years since Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown split up, it appears that the 27-year old superstar still has a soft spot for Brown after she reportedly defended him from Karrueche Tran, who recently clashed with the hiphop star on social media following their break up in March.
After seeing too much of Tran and Brown's bad blood on social media, Riri feels that Tran has already stepped out of the line when she humiliated Brown. An insider close to the "FourFiveSeconds" singer told Hollywood Life that Rihanna sees Tran being too hard on Brown, the singer even described Tran's behavior as "tacky" and "childish".
"Rihanna doesn't really know Karrueche all like that and doesn't walk in her shoes.", the source said. "But from her outside perspective, she feels she goes too hard on him and let's the world in on their business on social media. That's just tacky and childish! Ri thinks Karrueche needs to give that boy a break."
Rihanna, who has also been recently engaged with several issues, believes that Brown should make his daughter a priority rather than wasting his time over model Karrueche Tran.
"Karrueche will never know what people in this business like Chris and Rihanna go through on a daily basis. It's a constant grind. Their schedules are demanding. They're travelling. They're in this country today and another tomorrow. It's exhausting," the insider said.
While the news remains on the top of the media feeds, few speculations have rolled out, claiming that Rihanna and Brown are finally back in good terms.
The source also added that Rihanna is very proud of Chris. "Rihanna wanted to tell Chris how proud she is of him. After everything he's gone through, he's still pushing forward, making music and the best part is - he's a proud father."
Chris Brown and ex-girlfriends Rihanna and Karrueche Tran were all present at the 2015 BET Awards held on Sunday, June 28.
