Weatherman Used Taylor Swift Lyrics To Report His Forecast [WATCH + PHOTOS]

Washington D.C. local weatherman Mike Thomas gave a hilarious yet entertaining forecast earlier last week. The morning meteorologist for a local Fox News affialiate used Taylor Swift's lyrics to report his forecast to viewers.

The reason behind the unique delivery is in preparation for Taylor Swift's Washington D.C. concert on the night of July 13th.

Thomas starts off his segment by saying, "Hey Swifties, big concert tonight at Nationals Park here - Taylor Swift in town and I know what you're thinking: Mike, I knew you were trouble when you walked in, Mr. Weatherman."

He continued, "I've got some good news - it might make you fearless come the concert later on this evening."

As he forecasts the weather, he uses Taylor Swift's famous lyrics. He alters them to make it fit his forecast too, of course. He uses the "Shake It Off" lyrics to say, "This rain keeps cruising, can't stop, won't stop moving."

He also borrows some lines from "Out Of The Woods." Thomas says, "The question then becomes: 'Hey, are we out of the woods yet? Are we out of the woods yet? Are we out of the woods? Are we in the clear yet? Are we in the clear yet? Are we in the clear yet? Are we in the clear?'"

Thomas also took a line from Taylor Swift's single, "Mean" to talk to the viewers. He notes, "But I know what you're asking now: 'Hey Mike, why you gotta be so mean?'"

Mike Thomas also says, "I'll let you know if it's gonna rain forever or if the concert's gonna go down in flames," perhaps taking a cue from Taylor Swift's "Blank Space."

Mike Thomas even caught the attention of Taylor Swift herself! She tweeted him the following day saying, "Never change, Mike the weather man. Never change." She added a link to the video before adding the hashtag, #1989TourWashingtonDC.
