The mock political debate between the hosts of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Comedy Central and "The O'Reilly Factor" on FOX News will be moderated by CNN anchor E. D. Hill. The cost to watch is $4.95, with one half of the net profits going to support charities. It will be an hour of debate followed by 30 minutes of audience questions.
According to The Rumble 2012 website, one purchase allows you to stream up to three times, including the live stream on October 6th at 8pm ET, and on-demand thereafter (for a limited time). You can watch it on your computer, iPad, iPhone, Android based tablets, Android-based phones, and other mobile devices. It is also available on TV using Roku and AirPlay.
On Stewarts' show this past Thursday, O'Reilly who is 6-feet 4-inches repeatedly called Stewart "tiny." Stewart, who is 5-feet 6-inches replied saying "I see you as, like, an Abominable Snowman, ... like all I have to do is get out of your peripheral vision and I'll be fine."
In the press release for Rumble 2012, Stewart said "I believe this will be a very enjoyable night for fans of our programs, political junkies, partisans and people who just enjoy yelling."
