Plus-Size Model Ashley Graham Cant Wait To Be The 'Curvier Version' Of Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum And Cindy Crawford

Ashley Graham admits that she is happy with what she's doing, especially in her modelling career, apparently another motivation she harnesses inspiration from is her sole desire to be a different version of other famous models like Heidi Klum.

The plus size model admits to The Coveteur how she admires famous models in the modelling industry, saying, "I definitely look up to Kathy Ireland, Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks and Cindy Crawford."

She revealed that she wants to be the "curvier version" of them.

"I've watched their careers and they have just blossomed into extraordinary and amazing things. I can't wait to be the curvier version of all of them."

The 27 year old admits that even though she landed herself in the lingerie fashion industry, she still faces criticism from various people including her fans and fellow models.

She said, "I've faced criticism my whole career. It's come from fans, it's come from agents, and it's come from other models."

The bikini model shares how she handles the negative stuff and just turn everything into a "positive thing" to take the flak.

"But I think that it's all a matter of how you handle it and I turned it all into a positive thing."

"Now the industry has totally changed and it's not as much about size anymore - everyone's really jumped on the bandwagon of not letting size be the defining factor of determining what beauty truly is," she added.

Throughout her entire journey, she recalled her mom played a major role in her career. She felt that she doesn't have to lose weight just to compete with the other petite models.

She recalled, "I got told at the very beginning, when I was about 12 years old, 'If you lost a ton of weight, you could be a major model' and my mom just looked at the lady, started laughing and said 'We won't be doing that."That gave me so much confidence because if my mom didn't think I needed to lose weight, then obviously I didn't need to."

She added, "I'm not going to change the way I look for clients, I just want to do what makes me happy and be happy doing it," referring to the people that saying she needs to lose weight.
