Sony has announced the arrival of the exclusive content and new details of the skateboarding game Pro Skater 5 on PlayStation. The president of the game's developer Josh Tsui personally confirmed the news with a blog post on the official site of PlayStation.
Tsui revealed that PlayStation owners will have the chance to obtain Sweet Tooth, Ratchet and Sackboy as exceptional characters in the new version of the game exclusive for PS3 and PS4.
The president of Robomodo revealed on the blog post some interesting info about the online multiplayer mode. Players can now connect with other players easily compared to the previous version of Pro Skater.
"The Freeskate levels serve as lobbies for up to 20 players. They act as hubs where players can hang out and skate between different missions and online matches," Tsui wrote.
The mentioned Freeskate sessions are supported by devoted servers. Players have the choice to jump during actual mission with groups of friends. Gamers can also challenge everyone in their Freeskate session for a competition in the multiplayer modes.
A trailer was released to show the improvements made on the game that will surely excite gaming fans.
Tsui also reminded readers that the online modes are not available on the PS3 version and only on the PS4 title. Downloading on the former will only cost $40, instead of the $60 price tag on the PS4.
Sony has been importing video games into PlayStation the past few days. Earlier, the tech company announced the coming of the award-winning game Journey to PlayStation 4 next week.
