Sony has announced to the public its new limited edition of the PlayStation4. The gaming product is being released in celebration of the launching of the new console game Destiny: The Taken King this coming 15th of September.
The new gaming console is a white Destiny-inspired 500GB unit with a physical copy of the game "Destiny: The Taken King Legendary Edition." The bundle includes Destiny, Expansion I, Expansion II, and The Taken King.
The Density-inspired unit has an appealing feature of a silver map of the galaxy and gold Guardian badge design. The price is still unknown, but is expected to hit the stores on the month of September. The limited edition PS4 will be available across North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Aside from the bundle itself, the new PS4 unit also contains a free upgrade of the Digital Collector's Edition. This comprises not one but three exotic Guardian class items with XP bonuses, three class specific emotes and three armour shaders. An early access weapons pack is also included in the upgrade.
To some, the new gaming bundle seems to be the complete package for gamers. But for those who consider themselves as completionist collectors, some physical facets are still missing in The Taken King Collector's Edition.
This includes the steel-book case set, the replica Strange Coin, modified Treasure Island Book and physical artifacts and relics.
The company also announced other limited-edition PS4 consoles. The release includes the 20th Anniversary Edition and two alternatives of the Evil Within, also known as Psycho Break in Japan. Destiny, The Last of Us: Remastered Frozen are also available including the two different Bloodborne versions and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.
"Destiny: The Taken King" will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 during the release date.
