Why Windows 10 Won't be Available on all New PCs on Launch Day?

On July 29, the Windows 10 is set to be officially launched in the market however the software is still not available for everyone right away, even when New PCs have already installed the software.

According to Yusuf Mehdi, vice president of Windows and device marketing, the new operating system, Windows 10 has been added with its finishing touches by the Microsoft which will be finished a little more than two weeks ahead of the software's release.

The result would be, the PC makers cannot purchase the OS yet this week, therefore, the PC vendors may not have enough time to test Windows 10 and install it on their new devices. Windows 10 pre-installed PCs will be available after the July 29 launch.

But a spokeswoman for Microsoft asserted the opposite of the statement made by Yusuf Mehdi, the spokeswoman stated, "A build of Windows 10 will be delivered to our OEM partners soon so they can start imaging new devices with Windows 10," the spokeswoman also said, "We expect several OEM partners to have Windows 10 devices available for sale on July 29, including Lenovo, HP, Dell, and Acer with many, many more devices to follow in the coming weeks and months. We are excited to be working with our OEM partners to see Windows 10 innovations light up on these new devices."

The executive vice president of operating systems of Microsoft, Terry Myerson, stated in her blog post, "Each day of the rollout, we will listen, learn and update the experience for all Windows 10 users," Myerson also said, "If you reserved your copy of Windows 10, we will notify you once our compatibility work confirms you will have a great experience, and Windows 10 has been downloaded on your system."

Besides the Microsoft company own stores, they are partnering with a number of retailers in order to help stimulate and support the Windows 10 PC upgrade.
