Ian Somerhalder and wife Nikki Reed, who just tied the knot last April, arrived at the San Diego Comic-Con 2015 on Sunday, July 12, to attend as honored guests of the yearly junction of the comic book fandom.
Facing the panels and their hungry fans at the venue, the couple was dressed formally, with Nikki, 27, sporting a black revealing jumper and nerdy eyeglasses, and Ian, 36, wearing a classy black jeans, a silver polo and navy blue blazer, a black shades and black leather shoes.
The celebrity couple have both played popular roles in tlevision shows and films, making the crowd at the Comic-Con in San Diego considerably high at their arrival.
Nikki is known for her character as the bloodsucker Rosalie Hale on the Twilight saga and in her cult hit movie 'Thirteen' in 2003, while Ian on the other hand, reigns in his character as Damon Salvatore in the popular TV series 'The Vampire Diaries'.
Speaking of TVD, the show will be hitting its 7th season to be debuted this October. The cast and producers of The Vampire Diaries walked the stage of the Comic-Con event without one of its main characters Nina Dobrev.
It was the first time that TVD actors and crew joined the event without Nina Dobrev. Now, many fans are wondering how the show will look like without the stunner.
'The Vampire Diaries' season 7 started filming its first set of episodes half of last week and there was no clip or teaser to share. However, Somerhalder and his co-star Paul Wesley, hinted a bit of what's to come, now that Dobrev's character Elena Gilbert is no longer part of the series.
"Of course, it's bittersweet to be here without Nina," the show creator, Julie Plec said in her statement.
"I thought it was a really clever way to keep Elena there and keep her presence there and keep the door open in a lot of ways for her to comeback," Kat Graham, who plays Bonnie Benett, added. "But it also created an interesting dynamic going into Season 7 for Bonnie and Damon and them to have to deal with the fact that Bonnie's alive and Elena's not."
In a similar way on how the fans want to keep up-to-date with Ian and Nikki Somerhalder's married life, they are also on the lookout on what's to come in The Vampire Diaries Season 7, now that it's going to be completely different without Nina Dobrev.
