It looks like Riley Curry may soon have some company when she accompanies her dad during post-game interviews. The Golden State Warriors sharpshooting superstar took to twitter to announce that his wife Ayesha has just given birth to another baby girl. The Curry family's new addition is named Ryan Carson Curry.
Ayesha took to her personal blog to celebrate the news:
"The gift of life is truly an indescribable thing. We were fortunate enough to experience it all over again friday night! Our beautiful little Ryan Carson Curry arrived perfectly healthy and happy!"
"She arrived a little early through a quick 3 hour labor and was a small 6lbs 1 oz,I was able to birth her naturally without an epidural. This is something I've always wanted to do and was so happy to get through it with the help of my darling husband and amazing doctor."
Husband Steph kept it short and simple, taking to his official twitter account and saying that his wife "is a champ!"
The Curry's first child Riley stole the show during the Warriors run to the NBA title. A frequent fixture during Steph's media interviews, she quickly won the hearts of America with her cuteness and charm.
Ayesha says that Riley is already looking forward to playing the role of big sister:
"Riley is completely enamored with her little sister and has taken on her role as big sister beautifully," the girls' mother wrote on her blog. "I am already so proud of her!"
2015 has been a year to remember for Steph and his family. He took home the NBA MVP award and brought the Warriors franchise its first championship in 40 years. He also bagged the three point shooting crown at the NBA all-star weekend after a number of failed attempts. The arrival of his new daughter will no doubt be the cherry on top of an amazing 12 months.
