The Transformers: Combiner Wars is a cartoon series coming to the gigantic Transformers franchise. The Transformers cartoon series partnered by Hasbro, IDW Comics and Machinima is "for the first time ever, is specifically designed for the teen and adult fans."
Across Hasbro's toys and IDW comic books for the past year, Combiner Wars' storyline has be en released gradually, and soon in the Activision video game, the Transformers: Devastation.
Machinima's chief content officer, Daniel Tibbets said, the large numbers of Transformers enthusiasts, Habsro is creating something a segment - an animated series aimed at an older audience. Daniel Tibbets stated, "Our audiences are huge fans of the toy, comics, movies and video games, and for us to continue the legend with the Transformers Combiner Wars is a unique story-telling opportunity."
Tom Warner, Hasbro's senior VP of the Transformers franchise said, Hasbro has found Machinima (an American gaming and media streaming website, and a multi-channel network) to help launch a totally new kind of Transformers animation specifically designed for the teen and adult fans who have grown up loving the Transformers brand.
Senior Vice President Tom Warner said: "We're thrilled to be teaming up with Machinima on this groundbreaking, new digital series," Warner also stated,"As one of the top global producers and distributors of digital entertainment, they're the perfect partner to help launch a totally new kind of Transformers animation - one that, for the first time ever, is specifically designed for the teen and adult fans who've grown up loving the Transformers brand. We look forward to delivering amazing action, storytelling and characterization that these fans demand, as the Combiner Wars play out across toys, comics, digital games and of course, the brand new animated digital series."
Machinima said that Transformers Combiner Wars version will feature more violence, with a little cursing and sensual content made to be appealing to the teen and adult fans of the franchise.
