Tom Selleck 2015: ‘Magnum P.I.’ Goes Rogue, STEALS Water During California Drought?

The man who has made mustaches famous for the past three decades after playing the title character in "Magnum P.I." during the 80s is now facing a completely different challenge, as Tom Selleck's 2015 sounds odder than any other year now that the 70 year-old actor is accused of water theft.

The California drought has become historic as the state faces a heavy lack of rain for the past four years that has forced state residents to cut their water usage, but it seems like Tom Selleck's 2015 hasn't been keeping with the state-ordered measures, even taking other people's water for his own purpuses.

According to BBC, Tom Selleck's 2015 sees the actor accused by the Calleguas Municipal Water District in California's Venture County, as they claim he had a tanker truck filled up over a dozen times in the past two years amid the drought, taking water supplies that belong to the county in these hard times.

Reportedly, the cause was simple: Tom Selleck's 2015 60-acre Hidden Valley ranch nearby, where he grows avocados, a fruit that requires a very important amount of water to grow.

Los Angeles Times reports that residents hired a real P.I. to investigate Tom Selleck's 2015 water theft, who found that the "In & Out" actor had been responsible for filling up a white truck from a Thousand Oaks hydrant numerous times between 2013 and 2015 - then taking it to Selleck's ranch.

Residents of the area have filed an official complaint to prevent Selleck from stealing any more water from hydrants of the county while the drought continues, claiming they also spent $22,000 on private investigator expenses.

Gizmodo shows some images from Selleck's ranch, filled with water falls and the like in a time where California state residents struggle with their water quotas, making a very poor case for Tom Selleck's 2015 defense when it's time for the "Friends" actor to face his peers.
